Time spent in my studio has grown, as has my work. One follows the other. More studio time, more work done, more experience and learning, so work improves. This has increased my confidence and my excitement with where things are going.
While working in my studio, I often look out the window and see either deer or turkeys strolling by. Birds are always singing nearby as well....talk about inspiration!
Two art shows coming up in April, both local. One is an open mini-show, no work larger than 5x7 is allowed. I have two pieces ready for that. Another is an open show at the local co-op gallery and I will have two pieces ready for that one as well. This is quite a departure for me, since, in the past, I have skipped shows because there has been nothing ready.
I am so blessed to have a husband who supports me in my "new" art career. He helps with household chores, which leaves me more time to spend with my art.
Not only is art a big part of my life but the study of the natural world around me is as well. Please join me as I share both with you.
